1) Ask the victim to hold the injured forearm, elbow bent, minimizing movement
2) Using a triangular bandage, spread the bandage on the victim first. The tip of the triangular bandage should be on the elbow.
3) Gently put the triangular bandage below the victim's arm
4) Fold the bottom part of triangular bandage up towards the victim's neck. The base of the triangular bandage should be parallel with the victim's body.
5) Tie the 2 ends of the triangular bandage together, using the reef knot on the side of the neck.
6) Twist and tuck the loose tip cloth of the bandage, or tie a knot and tuck
7) Tuck the loose end or twist on either side of the bandage. Remove any creases or uneven folds.
8) Ask the victim to immobilise the injury
