I test rode one today at yarnton Very impressed Really nice build and it looks great and rides beautifully too I’m seriously considering one. I currently ride a non electric Brompton but I’m considering a leccy bike and this is definitely on my radar I was also pleasantly surprised with how light the bike is.

I like how these look, sadly it seems like there's not a bike shop in Liverpool that sells them :(

I am also curious how this bike secures the battery ? Looks like if I lock the bike anyone can just come and remove my battery ?

On first looks there are lots of exposed cables! Couldn't these be hidden in the frame or does that hinder maintenance? Also, how do you secure the bike and, importantly the battery(which i assume is expensive to replace if stolen!), if you are out on a ride and want to go inside a pub, cafe etc? Are you expected to take the bike inside with you??

The new E20.8 Play version has hidden cables. You can purchase a locking seat post clamp in place of the quick release, the downside to that is that is makes it harder to fold up quickly as you need an allan key to lower and raise the seat post.

Can the seatpost be locked in? It would be impossible to leave anywhere in the U.K. if not.

Your customer support is not that good! I enquired whether the 20.8 would pull a dog trailer. After about 5 months I am still waiting for a reply

This place for controller is better for MID-type engine with place for controller above - i.e. in this empty place.

Love this bike, the only question I have is can you change the computer units to miles and mph? If so, how?
@MylesHSG
Жыл бұрын
@@YTDaddy105not sure if you sorted it now but you can get into the settings menu to change. Turn bike on then quickly press and hold up and down together. Wait until light comes on screen then press power, up, down, up, power down and then you be in the menu

@@MylesHSG thank you so much, that has sorted my kmh to mph issue out, very much appreciated. There was one thing that caught my eye in the menu but I did not understand what it does, it showed you could change the speed - does that affect when the motor cuts in/out? Sorry - not been in the menu before!! Thanks in advance!

@@YTDaddy105 I'm not sure on that tbh, I haven't looked as I know that would make the bike not road legal.

that's a lot of exposed cables to get caught on stuff when you're getting on and off

The battery wire underneath is a bad design it can snag on anything your ride upon. Also its exposed to the elements, such as mud, water and stones etc. Not good. Also good luck getting a new battery for this bike.
