I think the Prime Minister and President should meet at the middle when it's connected, considering just how important this bridge is for our respective countries

Nice idea but if Trump is elected the border must be properly marked. As a convicted felon he won’t be allowed to enter Canada. 🇨🇦

I haven't had any family connection to Detroit since my uncle died in 1993 (one cousin but she is an idiot) but it is still fascinating to watch the project come together.

Music background is very distracting, but the presentation is very interesting! (I muted the sound and read the closed captions, but they included some small errors, I think.)

Would like to hear how the design accommodates thermal expansion and contraction. This is a wonderful video. Subtitles are needed to catch all of the words through the accent.

Yes you have two materials, steel and concrete, with quite different expansion coefficients.

What happens when the sides connect? Do all the workers have work permits in each country? Or are you going to put up a physical barrier right in the middle to keep both workers separate like they are now? And until then, no one is allowed to set foot on the other side of the center piece?

Why weren't rough-ins included in the bridge deck for passenger/transit/freight rail underneath?

Security will need to be beefed up to prevent Illegal crossings when they meet in the middle. Some will try! Or wait to install the 20' center section for last nearing the completion of the entire project.
