I like Ronnie Millsap I remember his song smoky mountain range so what if he forgot a few words we all do that from time to time when we get older I know his wife passed away a few years ago but he still sounded good to me I hope he enjoys his retirement

To all the people who couldn’t help but disparage Mr. Milsap: who gives you the authority to give mean, nasty remarks about an 81 year old icon? You have the legal right to say what you said. At any point in your life has anyone (mom maybe) told you “ If you can’t say something nice don’t say anything at all”…..

I was 17 years old, moved to Texas so far away from my small town. Never got a chance to listen to music and tell I got there. Ronnie milsap George strait Waylon Jennings, Alabama all those incredible singers. I got a chance to listen to for the first time. Ronnie Millsap took my heart away. I loved his singing, his heart and soul. I will miss seeing him around on video and TV. I wish I had the chance to sing him sing one last time 😢 thank you for everything you've done for country music and congratulations on your retirement. I love you😊❤❤❤

I love Ronnie's music, always have but it's way past retirement time, his voice is tired and extremely cringe worthy. It has been this way for a few years now. Very sad to watch. Goes to prove always quit while your ahead!

The fact that he was able to perform is a blessing. You would not believe the past he has had. He is an amazing man and its an honor just to hear his unmistakable voice. Read his bio you’ll be amazed.

Look, we all love Ronnie, and he's entitled to his privacy.... But it's obvious to me he suffered a stroke or multiple strokes. He actually has a light aphasia now when he talks. So many of his great hits are dependent on having a big range and that's gone. I will support his future projects but I don't think the live setting does him any favors anymore. He just had such a incomparable huge voice and that's gone.
