@DefensorMilitas
6 жыл бұрын
@@Wyatt_Riley I've never done any serious sparring, just throw on some gloves, go in the ring and work some basic drills. A few 50% rounds, not trying to actually hurt each other much. But I can echo that as a southpaw. I like a pretty stiff jab, and I feel like I have slightly better movement options. I can either step in or out, or lateral, into southpaw with a distancing right jab, and load(or not) my left.

It's hard to see what defines him from just this set of clips. He appears confident and calm in these clips largely because of his fantastic cardio. In most of these highlights, his opponents are getting really tired while he's still got lots left in the tank. He's a favourite with hardcore fans, but people who watch his fights usually become fans too, even if they're just casual fans, because his fights have usually been quite unique and entertaining.

Imo Nick is way more discplined / patient then Nate and therefore connects with more accuracy which might seem like more powerfull. @slimbrady6691

@S F Yea Conor is a warrior too, the 2nd Nate fight proved that. Off the top of my head some other warriors are Barboza, Gustafsson, and Wonderboy. Wonderboy vs Woodley round 3 (I think?) was one of the most impressive displays of heart I've ever seen. Nate and Nick are some of the last brawlers out there tho. Maybe that's what he meant.
@guiguijol
6 жыл бұрын
Nope he did not mean that, Mcgregor is not a warrior, the way he speaks does not even makes him a real martial artist... BTW a "warrior" means nothing in that game. Only spirit, technic, and heart do. Nick and Nate Diaz are the last fighters to use an oldschool combination of Martial Arts, skills and physical attributes , made to feet in a real street fight...a little bit Self-defense oriented too. Their Jiu-jitsu is not extremely sophisticated and technical, but hardcore based and they are masters. Especially Nick. In addition, their fighter mentality is layered on the pro- boxing preassure ( plus cardio ) and forcing their opponent to chute in their elite's Bjj defensive style. Nick is able to make speedbag during 24minutes non-stop. the video is stil available on youtube. Even few pro boxers can do that. Nate gives Bjj lessons to kids who's parents can't afford. They're called dumb, stupid, complaining thugs, not needle movers etc....

He says stuff that are not in a martial artist behavior. He clearly don't respect his opponents skills, and taps out quick without trying anything to get out of a choke. He built his hype by starving nearly to death fighting guys ( Mendez: that weighcut was atrosious, look the weigh-ins pictures) at 145, when he's clearly a natural welter-weight. He asked Diaz at 170 knowing he would be slower. Believe me, he will do shit at 155. Alvez was an average short therm champ. Nurmagomedov welcomed him well. Yes I'm a hater, being the opposite is being blind and totaly out of knowledge.

What happens is when you get to excited or mad your blood starts flowing faster. And if that happens you tire out not from over working but from ur blood pumping to fast. So you tire from the inside out. So staying calm keeps your body working without peaks and valleys and your able to keep a pace. That's how that works
