It was staged. From Reddit: The "reporter" was actually Mike Roy, Vice President of Finance for the University. "I built this tower because people everywhere were wondering what the next structure would be. I wanted to do one that was rather unique, and I had built this one at home, and it was a blast to do. Unlike the original Pisa tower which has mortar and the such this one relies only on gravity to keep the lean. It is made completely hollow just as the original one is. It took about six days to construct because it collapsed seven times before finally perfecting the lean. It took approximately 80 sets of Jenga to build this tower. It was demolished by stringing a wire through the bottom of it which was hidden out of view of the camera that was filming the event. When 'interviewer' Mike Roy stepped around it with his microphone cord the wire was pulled to make it collapse."

@@FlakMonky20k I’m not gonna say that it was staged for sure, but I think WILL is right. The whole thing just seems too perfect, like something out of a comedy movie. I could easily see Will Ferrell doing this. Or an older movie like the Vacation movies with Chevy Chase.

@@colebuzz2826 i think he made it on purpose. He was smiling
@BASHAR JIRJIS I don't know if you noticed, but the old guy had a hint of a smile at the end. He said it when he was transitioning to another news anchor named Dale. It kind of shows that he doesn't know how to handle poor situations well. If you're old and wise, you should at least have the decency to realize the person's grief on the spot.

Since I knew he was gonna knock it over, I felt worse and worse the more the guy talked about how much effort he put into it and how Guinness was going to verify it and everything. And then he just walked out and probably went to cry 😭😭😭. I feel terrible for the poor lad...
