Today I was working the Frontier OS27 Sawmill. I was having a hard time getting the blade to stop. At first I thought the idle was too high but when I turned it down the engine wouldn't stay running. I shut the motor down to see if it would disengage the clutch. When I tried to start it it had a massive kickback. I was trying to pull start the motor with the clutch engaged which was turning the blade.
I was able to get the clutch off with no problem with a three-jaw puller. I lubed up the shaft cleaned up the clutch and had it freed up. It seems to be working much better now
