True enough but as your film shows.Garbage in the streets, dirty unemployable people.Only decent part of the place is Dalmuir Park

It's not my film mate. Clydebank / Dalmuir is not filled with dirty unemployable people. That's a generalisation from yourself, which I think is pretty derogatory to the majority of people of the town. I'm from Clydebank / Dalmuir and I have an excellent profession as lots of my fellow Bankies do. To generalise and take a derogatory swipe at an entire town population with a fantastic history is your choice, sounds as though you had a bad experience of living there, but to demonise an entire town for your misfortune or sad history is pretty low. No matter where you go, there will always be an element of undesirables who bring down the city / town / street, however, there are also the good people and I've met and know a lot of them. Like I said, your choice, your feelings, but I'm sure your in a minority.

I grew up for over a decade in Mountblow from 70's through to 80's.It wasn't as much of a shit tip as Dalmuir, infact it had some nice decent housing and people. Now Mountblow is as big a shit tip as Dalmuir, the disease spread like fungus.Apart from a nice little library, the rest of the place was fun of grubby shops, off licenses and dregs-of-the-Earth bars.

Lots of derogatory terms and generalisations, but I still fail to see why your bad experience of living in your area of Mountblow puts everyone into the "dregs of the earth bracket". Its your personal experience, and you may have lived in a time when things were not appealing to you or your memories of that time, however, I once again reiterate, just because people frequent pubs, bookies etc, does not make them bad people. I know lots that do, really find them great upstanding people, with great historical careers and stories to tell. I've been all over the world and always met a professional person from "Clydebank/Dalmuir", I've never met you in professional circles so I cannot comment on meeting you in your personal "profession". It sounds as though your personal memories and feelings towards the area are more deep routed. There are many inspirational and great people from "Clydebank/Dalmuir and yes, there are some beyond help, who had no chance in life due to their parents lifestyles or should I say lack of parental guidance. however, everyone deserves that chance, I got a break through wonderful people and it changed my life. I take it you moved far away from the area, which makes me wonder why you would watch a video of the area? You obviously still hold some kind of feelings, good / bad or indifferent, I recon bad? But why seek out a video of the area if you hate it that much. It doesn't make sense to be honest? You obviously have found utopia, good for you David, enjoy it. Oh I'm not in Clydebank either now, I'm far away doing my job, but first chance I get, I return to see my lovely family and the good people of Clydebank with whom I certainly hold dear, Oh what a lovely town......Namaste.....
