This would be great for his WWE return. Its less like the happy go lucky Cult of Personality. It would be a message that he's not there to have fun like most of his AEW run. He is there to to book-end his career like he really wanted to. Obviously ROH is not an option anymore. I think he realizes that AEW didn't fit him at this point. Values change, styles change, people change and that's okay. He is more of a storyteller now and appreciates the history of the profession more now. He expected that respect for the business in AEW and it wasn't there. He had outgrown it. He is not the ROH CM Punk. He is not the Straight Edge WWE CM Punk. He is not The Best in the World CM Punk. He is a little bit of all of them. He is a little bit of all of his childhood idols and legends that taught him a long the way. He is a little bit of all of his opponents throughout his career. Be that guy. Be you.

Regardless if it’s wwe or Roh you’re a mark for some company and you definitely defend their every move just as wwe marks do. So lay off the hypocrisy. Two, I understand why Punk had an issue with wwe. I listened to everything he had to say. That was his side. There’s two sides to every story. The truth is somewhere in between. I find it just as hysterical when punk marks take everything he says as gospel. I’m sure he wasn’t as innocent as he claimed. I don’t think wwe screwed him over as much as he wants everyone to believe especially with how hard he was pushed and utilized. Do I think they made mistakes? Of course. But I think Punk did as well and breaking his commitment and word in the middle of his contract was lame. But you can believe whatever you want. I can’t even imagine what it’s going to be when he wrestles again, it’s going to be incredible no matter what the outcome will be.

Not sure what would be better for a return, this song or Cult of Personality. This song is pretty good for him and the light effect would look cool.
