Hi. I know this video is super old I just didn't know if you could help me with this. I reached out to Beyond Polish customer service and they confirmed, as their website states that Be Demure AND Mauve Maverick AND Coquette are all ( according to them ) discontinued. Is this really true? There's already such a limited color line with CND Shellac. This is awful if so.

Thank you this is so helpful seeing the swatches !! Also I hate the brushes I have no idea why they stopped using the other formula those brushes were great and hate hate the small writing on the back of the bottles like we don’t have enough to see all day😳. I say go with the reds I’ll be using those for the next month

I have Winter Glow and like it but agree it doesn't apply too easily. I also agree Bouquet has a much nicer application than Romantique and is a nicer colour. However to me grapefruit sparkle looks much nicer over Romantique as compared to over Bouquet. Probably due to Romantique's lighter, whiter background which sets off the Grapefruit Sparkle. Really enjoyed these comparisons, thankyou.

Thanks for another great comparison video. I always enjoy learning new tips and also hearing that I’m not the only one experiencing little issues/hiccups in application of Shellac, this time the slippery or runny basecoat after curing. I only have three of these shades that you swatched but am never happy with the application of Be Demure, Coquette however is awesome both the colour and formula. I vote Dark Reds. 😊💅🏻

it’s hard to define...your cool and not overexcited way of talking while working sounds really honest and knowledgeable...the comments from your male friend open a view to a different prospective in a helpful way...then the contrast of his tattooed hands with the polished nails is so fascinating!! Well done!

I know what you mean, for me it's the same. Love your calm and cool way of talking about the products and especially the way, how you go straight to the point rather than beating around the bush. I hate overly long videos and your are just perfect. And may I just say, I simply love how supportive your male tattooed friend is and how he's genuinely interested in your work. You don’t need acetone, with Shellac or pure gel polishes, alcohol can clean them up! (Before curing, of course)

Thank you so much for posting this! I'm getting married April 4th and I was so torn between Winter Glow, Be Demure, and Candied. This really helped me pick which one I wanted to use. I was originally going with Fiji by Essie but decided on shellac for the lasting effect. Decided to use Winter glow, it seemed to be the closest to Fiji just a tad bit lighter/white but for a wedding it should look amazing. Especially since my flowers have light pink in them. Again I LOVE watching your videos, so very informative and I love seeing the colors.

Dark reds next please, just as Christmas coming up. Agree again with you about certain colours being streaky when applying. I try to persuade clients not to go for those ones. Pinks are well known for fading especially if a UK client is off on holiday somewhere sunny. We usually stick Lecenté glitters over some if they really, really want to go for pinks. Although educators in UK say it's due to sun creams being left on the nail, that causes fading, not just the sun. I noticed Blues fade too.
@TheSalonLife
4 жыл бұрын
No, it’s not the sun creams. My swatches faded and they are not even outside! They were sitting next to a window (UVA goes through glass). Ps. You are right about the blues. One of the blue fades to like a lighter, dirty version!

Loving your videos! Thank you for all this effort! Do you by any chance have side by side swatches of Carnation Bliss and Winter Glow? They look so similar on pictures, but Carnation Bliss seems a bit cooler while Winter Glow seems to be a very nice, warm colour. Going crazy here to order Winter Glow when I already have Carnation Bliss 😅🤣 among the other 30+ CND colours

I will look at them tomorrow. :) I should redo the light pinks video because there are more light pinks now :) Carnation Bliss is better formula though. Winter Glow sometimes needs 3 coats.
