Excellence is priceless, but Coach Deion Sanders has been influential and inspirational force of nature that will generate greatness throughout the JSU Football and the community of Jackson as well. However, Coach Deion Sanders has been truly inspiring and influential in the HBCU culture of making proactive changes necessary for HBCU future generations as well. Hopefully, other coaches will eventually get on board to unify the vision that Coach Deion Sanders has for all of HBCU in the United States of America also.

Even though it didn't end the way I'm sure he (and the team) wanted it to end, he still finishes with an 11-2 season and a phenomenal recruiting class (through early signing day). He had the program going in the right direction AND there's real excitement around it. JSU did an amazing job this season in so many ways! Because of them, many had conversations, read more articles, and even caught a game or two on National television in regards to Historical Black Colleges. This is about more than many May perceive. He has said, God called him to do this. In my opinion he is answering that call. I believe that call was about more than a win. What God has plan for him is his and no man will ever take that away! God has something bigger planned. Stay humble, grateful, and obedient to the Lord. If you get that power 5 opportunity (that many keep speaking into existence) and IF the lord moves you to take it, Do it! You have and will continue to make history in the HBCU community! From someone whom has never watched an HBCU game in my life! Thank You!! Congratulations SCSU, you guys represented and did an amazing job!

Humility is a powerful thing people. Their over confidence came from talking about dominating a competitor ( Coach). That started with the coach giving SCSU plenty bulletin board notes. The "Ole Lion" simply had an answer for everything you attempted. Coach Prime , you put the shine on all HBCUs and no one can deny that, however NEVER forget the individuals like Coach Buddy that has been doing this for a few decades. You can't forget that. Those ( 8) Gold Jackets at the Coin Toss ( And many others) are the reason your where you are today. That is a part " what it use to be" too. Congrats to both teams , I predicted 20 to 16 SCSU.

There are some people who are never completely satisfied until they actually have their own personal validation or attention from others. I pray that those individuals who are so sensitive need a shout out from Coach Deion Sanders should just give him a call, if possible. Hopefully, I attest that Coach Deion Sanders has never been disrespectful to any coaches in HBCU, but I sense the pettiness of some coaches who do not articulate their true concerns about HBCU path and success in the future of HBCU. At least from my personal perspective, Coach Deion Sanders has been influential and inspirational in addressing the second class conditions in the HBCU as well. As a former athlete who attended Shaw University, I know first about some of things that Coach Deion Sanders has been trying to address or resolve, but I know that some people of that crab like mindset. They have a tendency to have short term memory for their own hidden agendas, but I pray that those individuals will at least should their own platform to articulate their issues as well.

Football is different in MEAC country. Deon got out coached by an old school coach who lives the game from way back. He saw the weaknesses in JSU’s team and exposed it. The difference is old school ball philosophy of 11 men being molded into a hardened unit willing to collectively over come impossible odds by blocking, hitting, running, and tackling. All that for one inch, yard, or field when needed. This man is a living legend simply going about his craft in a meticulous fashion to achieve a desired out come of producing MEN w/ tried and true methods. Prime is learning some things that he did not get at FSU nor in the NFL. Old fashioned down home country homeschooling.

The only 4 stars they have on defense are the Dline, most of their secondary they rotate was already at JSU and Deion just kept them and the others are 3 stars aside from Nugget being a 4 star. JSU didn't have a single 5 Star until TH committed fam fam, Quay Davis (Receiver but can't play yet) and Shadeur was definitely close, but they aren't/weren't 5. On a championship team, JSU ......has to recruit 5 star players, not only at the "skilled positions ". But, also the Defensive & Offensive linemen positions. Could be considered the "Rock" to a team. My recommendations would be drafting 6" 5 / 300 linemen would be standard. Also, building depth at each position. On defense 6 DT, 6 DE, 3 NT, 6LB, 6CB , 4 SS . On offense 3 centers, 6 guards, 6 Tackles, 3 TE .......No one should be, less than 6'3 275. All top recruits. Coach PRIME has the credential to draw ......all quality players for JSU legacy. Deon will be his own worst enemy. Keep your mouth shut and never give the other locker room bulletin board material. Stars don’t matter , heart does.

Bro stop it … everybody always knows the answer to the problem . Before he got there JSU was a joke on the football field for years. He’s doing damn good. 11-2 is a winning season, along with a Swac Championship. Him talking shit obviously wasn’t the problem. Anybody that knows football, knows that. 💯

@@GBDirty30 I think you're both right. He's doing damn good and the bulletin board material Coach Sanders provided may not have helped JSU's cause today.

Coach Clown is about getting new high-ranking "dawgs", so that he can lazily win to get a FBS head coaching job. I need to be more sensitive because he sounds older than Great Coach Oliver "Buddy" Pough. Losing softens a clown's manufactured arrogance.

WTH! I'm a FSU fan and Prime got the 5 star fare and square. Stop acting like a baby. I wish Prime got the FSU job over the loser we have now. Prime will compete with power 5 schools in two years. Deon help build the FSU legacy. How dare you not wish him the best.
