Really a nice version of that Buffet classic. I’m just learning the song, so this is very helpful! Thanks for posting.

Beautiful. Good job on a tuff song. I shred crazy musicianship stuff a lot but that is hard to do so well. My hat is off. I bet Jimmy would agree.

Great job! One of my all-time favorite songs! I’ve been looking for sheet music, tabs, online tutorial... anything to help learn this, and can’t find anything. Any suggestions?

Thanks Leonard! One of my favorites, too. I can't swear I do it like Buffett or Sykes, but, my version is in E (std tuning). the opening progression is E - G# - C#m (walk down to Bm) - A - Bm - A - then a weird turn-around I'm not sure what to call - I play a variation of an E shape with the index finger on the 4th fret - walk it down and end up in E (it's really G#->F#->E but just playing a few notes out of each chord with an E bass) then C9 - B9 back to E - B7 - E. The intro and versus all use that basic progression, but, the weird e walk down is just on the intro and between verses. The chorus is similar chords with a C7 as the transition into the chorus and the G# becomes a G#m. Hope this helps - Good luck!
