Try this...Paramus NJ to Burbank CA. I worked all day in NJ and left Paramus at 4 PM on Friday and yes, I-80 had usual traffic. I made it to Burbank at 11 am on Monday. Total miles with my busy day in NJ was over 2,900 miles. I usually ran about 4 mph above the speed limit but not over 70 mph as my rig is governed at that limit. It was consistent driving and no messing around smelling the Rose's. I have a 2019 Peterbilt with a pre 2000 refurbished Detroit Series 60. I should get a shirt for that! I've also done the southern run from Miami beach convention center to Los Angeles Convention center. Left Miami around 12:30 PM on a friday and arrived LA at 2:30 am on Monday. I'll take two shirts, please.

First I love the Vinwiki videos. But... I want to throw this out there.... It might be possible to frequency lock a Ka band signal and shift it slightly for forward signals and backward signals in the correct direction(taking doppler into account) to make the speed always 60MPH Without getting a jammed signal from the transceiver. This method is complicated and involves some sophisticated electronics, but it "may" have been done once,. It "may" involve FPGAs scanning a certain band with mixers(downconverters) and such simply and locking onto the highest peak of an FFT and shifting it ever so slightly before re-transmitting it at a larger power than the reflection.... it also may involve DDS with precise control of phase shifting based on frequency and other factors, but such a thing "may" be possible. These things are complicated but not impossible. Certain YAGI/fractal antennas have excellent forward/reverse rejection capabilities also especially combined with multi-transmitter arrays slaved to a single frequency source. Even with temperature/frequency shifts in a tunneling diode. Building a car to exploit this may be possible. This is just an idea and has never been proven, officially.

Was going 191mph and probably could have hit 200 but wanted to keep it safe. Think I’ll scratch a hole to my brain to figure the logic on that one. Edit: I’m well aware of the mechanical ramifications of additional MPH at those speeds. Consider though that 9mph more on public roads at about 3X the speed limit you’ve abandoned safety. And no argument of driver skill, countermeasures, car’s ability, etc... is a legitimate excuse. I’m not condemning the herculean feat they accomplished, just found that comment perplexing.

Actually, at that high of a speed, even a small increase carries much stress put on the car along. Aerodynamic effects and stresses on moving parts especially tyres, don't increase linearly with speed, but rather exponentially. A tyre that is stable at 190mph for long periods of time, might just shatter into a million pieces or overheat and lose traction after a couple of miles doing 210. There is a logic in that.
