The landscape seems immutable, but the winter of 2013-2014 dealt a severe blow to this piece of coastline, which in places retreated by 40 meters under the effect of a series of violent storms. In Lacanau, the coast already has the profile that experts had predicted for 2040. What should we do in the face of such progress, which could compromise the entire local economy and way of life in this seaside region in the medium term?
