Captain Boeing, once again, such a pleasure watching and listening to your videos. It may not have been a very smooth/soft landing, but it got you safely on the ground!! Still an awesome approach by the both of you. Listening to this with headphones was absolutely amazing!! Could truly hear the gear coming down and hear the both of you much easier! 😉😉 So happy to see your return. #1 Captain in my heart ♥️ -- blessings to you always!! Stay safe out/up there!! Cheers!! 💕✈️✈️💕

@@CaptainBoeing I am actually watching my nephew's flight right now. He is flying from KIDI to KHEF -- flying a Cessna T182. He had his pilot's license before he got a driver's license. He is not a commercial pilot. He just flies for himself -- sometimes for business (he is an attorney) -- sometimes for pleasure. He flew into the local airport for a family gathering we had last month. I am very proud of him!! 💕💕

Great vid. I guess your colleague was just practicing his 'firm' landing technique. Just part way through my APTLs at the moment and would love to fly the Queen of the Skies. Alas, an increasingly rare sight these days so not sure that will happen 😢

Intersting to see that even if auto throttles are enabled the FO keeps the hand on the throttle levers to feel and understand what the plane is doing. Probably improves the situational awareness.
@wigrysystems
Жыл бұрын
Also another thing I noted was the quite late extension of landing gear - you were already established on ILS when FO quite casually mentioned gear down flaps 20 more like confirming instead of ordering action.

As long as YOU walk away from a landing it’s a good landing. Love the camera positioning and love the approach view over Long Island. Why was it a non-soft landing? Would a flare have made it softer? ❤️U😎 תודה על זיפי המעצב הסקסי קפטן. זה עשה לי את היום.

Some more flare would make it softer ...but it's still a good landing .. not always we have 2 b 100% good
