Platinum level advice that I wished I knew in my twenties! Another reason we get better with age is understanding what’s in our best interest is taking good advice. Thank you!

So true - at 23, I always thought I knew best. Now I know the value of at LEAST listening & considering ;-)

Very informative video. I would like to add that in the European and Asian culture people mostly acknowledge respect with a nod or bow of the head when being introduced. Mostly it is seen as politeness not deference. I like your saying, "don't throw rocks in your own path". An important motto to remember.

Yes - excellent point Marty (European / Asian culture). I hadn't thought of that one at the time ;-)

These all seem easier to understand when you present them. Maintain my posture when being introduced. I’m not sure if I do or not. But I am aware now.

I’m not over 40 just yet but I found these tips really helpful and they weren’t patronising like other channels. I’m a new subscriber and looking forward to watching more of your content. Many thanks!

Aww thank you beautiful lady - and welcome to the community. You're right-on.... Most of what I talk about tends to appeals to women w/a particular mindset (growing, evolving, in a positive, no judgey-eyes environment) vs. 'age' - but I wanted women to know the channel was a little more mature in nature, than the 20 year olds ;-) xoxo. happy to have you on-board. - Shelli

Love the perspective. If you know the “rules” you feel more confident. It’s not about airs. Love the tip on the food and drink balance I always struggle with this.

Yup - it's all about knowing the basics and just giving a little "social polish," so we can focus on letting our light shine ;-)

Another great video Shelli thank you. I really like the tip about not bowing when you first meet somebody. I'm going to be more mindful of that. ❤

You KNOW if guys are using it for their wig it’s legit 😉. I use it, and seriously - it doesn’t BUDGE. Total peace of mind. Especially if you’re at a work party. Not the way ya wanna get promoted 😬 😁

It could be, although this delicate silk like dress moves freely and you can clearly see the tape. So kinds of defines the point. But I guess it was just a quick illustration of what tape can do:)
