Old school coconut cookies are a favorite, the savory taste of coconut makes the taste unique with its own taste, and these cookies are very easy to make, with fairly economical ingredients and a high success rate which is very helpful for beginners who are learning to make cakes to be able to make them. coconut cake
material :
- 165g cornstarch
- 100g granulated sugar
- 50g dried coconut
- 115gr margarine
- 30g wheat flour
- 1 egg yolk
- 1/ 2 tsp baking powder
- 1/ 2 tsp salt
dressing material
- 15g dry coconut
Bake at 150° for 35-40 minutes
in my oven, I baked it for 37 minutes..
note:
Be careful not to burn it, the brownish bits can be removed, the cake which is still a little white will also be crunchy.
note: if the dough is too soft, you can add cornstarch little by little, until the dough can be shaped, you can check the sweetness level. Because there are many factors, including egg moisture/egg size, that influence the dough results.
