I went through a bout of dry scalp and found that vinegar helped normalize and soothe it. I mixed half organic apple cider vinegar and half water in a spray bottle, washed my hair, finger-parted my hair to spray my scalp and let it stay on for a few minutes before rinsing and using conditioner just on the lower half of my hair. I noticed a difference after just a few applications. Be careful not to let it flow into your eyes - it burns! And, no, it didn't stink after my hair dried :-)

Anissa Gonzalez I think you can easily omit the glycerine. Formulators add it because it attracts moisture BUT it is drying over the long term, I've been told.

@@manganerd96 it's not the castile soap dummy, soap is supposed to strip the hair of oils. Isn't it blatantly obvious that the greasiness comes from the coconut milk? What do you think will happen if you drown your hair in a mixture that's 50% fat?
