That slide at 2:35 is the most beautiful noise that's ever been made in the history of music.

Yeah I love the sound of Simon's bass guitar and all the guitar textures and sounds Guthrie conjures. Liz sounds lovely too of course. I just love the overall spooky atmosphere.

I loved playing Blue Bell Knoll at a job I had in the early 90s...'Glowbo' came up and a co-worker didn't like it much at all, lol. "What is that awful music??...that's TERRIBLE!"

I first heard this song in 1989, taped it on a cassette, and never knew who it was, until a year ago! Always thought it might be Siousie and the Banshees. What a great, yet mostly unknown gem from 3 decades ago. That sound. That voice. That guitar and rubber band bass. So ethereal.....

How do we describe the transition at 2:16 from the most beautiful and painful vocal intensity into a release of pure musical euphoria? I cannot put it into words, other than to say these people were the stuff of godly geniuses.

De todas las canciones del Blue Bell Knoll esta es la que mata. Al final esos acordes de gitarra me recuerdan al tema que abre el "Dark Side Of The Moon" de Pink Floyd, "Breath".
