I was on my way to work going towards the South End of Halifax, I always go past the Cogswell Interchange that’s going to take a couple years to be completely demolished, so for this part, I decided to shoot a video of the big changes they did over the last couple months. I know this is going to be a big mess, traffic getting detoured. The ramp that is going North on Barrington Street is now closed for all traffic, & as I get towards Purdy’s Wharf & the Halifax Marriott Hotel, that road ramp going up towards Cogswell Street is completely demolished (almost), same with the big wall barricade, that’s over halfway down! I knew they were going to rip that apart in the future to what my mom told me, & she was right. When I go walking past Scotia Square & the pedway system that connects most of the major buildings without walking on the street, I can hear that construction, workers wearing the reflective vests, construction diggers. What a mess I have to say already!
I have also waited for almost 3 hours to see if there is more changes after I got out of work, basically it looks the same, & same with in the evening. But in a week, usually there is more work done, ESPECIALLY in a month.
