_"All People's have the right to self defence from Colonial rule, including armed resistance"_ UN Charter: Protocol 1 Call for Government by People's Referenda: Peaceful Encampment of our Capitals until it's installed, or run Mascot Candidates Single Issue Referendums with thresholds and a social contract means Communities can vote their own laws. A Public Authority can audit police and prosecute bad cops in our own courts. Nationalise resources and give Indigenous peoples the right of Sovereignty over them as Guardians. This can be achieved through a General Strike or Velvet Revolution, much like the Occupy movement, peacefully occupying State Buildings until a People's Mandate can be implemented. With the appropriate checks and balances, you could have a national digital forum where qualified professionals can debate the issues in a public setting without all the disinformation and bad faith antics, hatespeech etc. Any vote would need to pass the 70% threshold, with a veto or _rewrite_ vote needing 30%. The issues would be debated, the public educated, and then a vote taken. Votes that fail will have to wait a year before trying again. Any new proposal (Citizen Initiated Referendum) would have to reach a threshold of support before it made it onto the register. This would be subject to a Social Contract (New Constitution) that forbids human rights abuses and discrimination. That can be written in the same manner based on the core principles we all share. Councils and Boards could operate in the same fashion at Scale. It works in a way that obligates people to better educate themselves ( that is to use logic and evidence in their reasoning ) for a better understanding of the issues, and then take collective responsibility for the outcomes. As opposed to the divisive US v them scapegoating and bi-partisan finger pointing the current Capitalist Pyramid Scheme runs on. @@stavroskarageorgis4804 In the UK Labour got 33% of the vote and reaped 63% of the seats. The smaller parties (i.e. the parties that are not the two major establishment parties) got 40% of the vote and won only 17% of the seats. The end result is just more of the same corrupt government that ignored the needs of the people while bending over backwards to pursue the interests of the entrenched political establishment (composed of neocons, globalists, oligarchs, etc) Over in the US, ALL candidates that are not deeply corrupt members of the entrenched political establishment are filtered out via primaries, leaving us with absolute dog-shit choices such as McCain, Biden, Clinton, Gore, and even Obama. The only outsider to manage to get past the heavily curated primaries was Trump, and his presidency was so heavily sabotaged by the corrupt establishment officials he chose (Robert Gates, John Bolton, etc) that Trump may as well have been a corrupt political insider for all the difference he made in office. So it goes for Western country after Western country, where our political systems have - by now - been completely figured out by the well-resourced big interests (Military Industrial Complex, Big Pharma, Wall Street, Big Tech, Big Agri, Big Retail, etc) that now regularly game our system to ensure the continuation of the ruinous-for-us-but-beneficial-for-them status quo. The French elections is nothing more than they latest clown show, in which the recipients of the largest amount of votes (Le Pen's party) received fewer seats than the leftist coalition AND the party of the much-despised Macron.

Hi Nima, I'd like the opportunity to talk on your show some time about how the position of the Irish government doesn't reflect the opinions of the Irish people, when it comes to the Ukrainian conflict. I'm part of a group in Ireland called The Truth And Neutrality Alliance, and we recently attended the Victory Day celebrations in Ireland and 2 of our group, I was one, were key speakers. We were very well received by the Russian and pro Russian, and ex Soviet community there. I've been on radio 1 time with a Russian friend and it has been the only time where the other side of the story has had a chance to be aired to the Irish public. Ukrainians have tried spreading their propaganda and Russophobia in my country but I think people here are tired of them for the most part. My wife is Russian and lives in Moscow, where I hope to move to soon. I wouldn't have her come here and face the humiliation that a Russian would have to face when entering Ireland. Maybe you could find the time in your schedule to talk to someone who is not a renowned expert or a professor but an ordinary Irish man who has a good understanding of the conflict and I know my organisation would be very proud to see us get exposure on such a large platform like yours. I know our Russian comrades here would also really appreciate an Irish voice speaking up for them on the international stage. Many thanks Nima, and keep up the good work. ♥️🙏

Hopefully people decide the duopoly is over and they vote Jill Stein. We need a new direction which requires new parties.

They won't. The worse the situation gets the more people will hold on to the system to find some semblance of order. If they can't find virtue in their own candidate they'll just demonize the other to rationalize a bad vote.

Has anyone thought that maybe China, Russia and other countries have decided that they don't want to watch continuous wars and the poorest countries being pilfered by the west, particularly by the US? China, Russia and India have managed to bring a huge number of their population into the middle class from poverty, over the last 20 or so years. Just because the West constantly thinks war, doesn't mean other countries do. I believe many other countries, as in BRICS, are thinking about their ECONOMIES!! All countries could work together on this but unfortunately the West can't see it.

exactly! We want (the little countries that got into cross hairs) a chance to develop in peace..afford basic stuff..just basic stuff and just live out our days in peace.. the BRICS countries bring fwd that vision...I like it and want to be a part of that world... we've seen war...destruction, poverty, stagnation, humiliation...to most of us that's all we've known..no hope...until now...when ppl offer us a clear vision of a shared future for all of humanity... Either we build it or we all perish but status quo has gotta go (as kids say)

I remember people saying the US National Debt couldn't go on when it was Single Digit Trillions, nearly 30 years ago!!
@ChuckPalomo

Back then it could because trust in the dollar was high and they could just export their debt indefinitely. Now that whole ponzi scheme is starting to crack. I think it can still continue for another decade on its current momentum alone, but the hammer WILL fall. And the longer it goes on the harder the collapse.

Right now in Japan they are kind of in denial about the decline and eventual fall of the US Empire they are doubling down trying to get closer to and show the US what good allies they are. It will take a generational shift of politicians, Koizumi Jnr ? Maybe? to push the Japanese establishment into thinking for themselves. My hope is that when they do it will be a Meiji Ishin Moment level event

The japanese government is holdover of pre-war elites and remain in power with supported of the US. They experience HISTORIC low support by Japanese people, down in the 20s%. If this government collapsed with the American empire, maybe the Japanese people will form something that better serve their own interests.

Colonel: not a word about the oligarchy that is at the very heart of the American crisis? Big money, big business runs the American Show, we all know it. Only Jill Stein wants to take big money OUT of politics! Not a passing nod in her direction? What gives??

The US may be rudderless alright, but our leadership is still really good at their core competency - staying in power. They know exactly how to rig the system in their favor. They just can't steer a ship any more. Every time you attempt to remove the bug, it manages to burrow down a little deeper. A lot of talk about fixing the thing, but it seems like nonsense
