Thanks for your videos. I see you relied to a comment recently. I am tinkering with my Triumph. Virtually identical just bigger. Had a nightmare with the threaded endcap. Came out so easy but tight as anything going back in. Had to use Stilsons not happy. And yet threads clean as a whistle with no damage.

The tail-stock on mine is the only thing that I couldn't get apart. The screw keep bit you show just wouldn't budge. I still regret it to this day. I stopped before I did any damage and I can see the holes on yours got a pretty good working over.

Great stuff, what was the paint? Probably should be tailstock and not headstock. Great work keep it up. Regards Jim

Thanks James, the paint is Plasti-coat and goes on a treat, this colour is satin so I put on a layer of clear gloss laquer as well, it,s cheaper from the Range, Yes you are right should be Tailstock, will see if I can change it.
