Excellent discussion of low temperature physics. I knew some of this, but I also learned some things I didn't know. Thanks! Keep up the good work.

Could this ever be turned into a practical kitchen refrigerator? With this much cooling I would think that the device would only have to 'zap' a pellet of coolant once per week. Then let that pellet absorb heat in the system for the rest of the week, like a quantum ice box. Would this not be incredibly energy efficient?

Funny enough no one sees laser-cooling for the future Venus terraformation. Yes, those lasers must be huge, but they would be a part of a space-situated solar-array that could cover Venus from the Sun and cool it with the lasers.

Well it might be good for quick cooling it but there are easier way to do that, just using Mega tinfoil on venus orbit and wait few year IM sure it Will cool enough to cool it even freeze venus
