The soggy, nasty weather is no match for the BTS A.R.M.Y.!
If you haven't heard, K-pop sensation BTS is having a free concert in Central Park this week and the group's die-hard fans have taken it upon themselves to wait in big numbers outside the iconic park with little shelter save for umbrellas and the odd tarp.
The little shelter available comes after the NYPD told the crowd that no tents are allowed, prompting the "tent city" that was initially set up to be taken down.
BTS, the South Korean boy band, made up of members RM, Jin, SUGA, j-hope, Jimin, V and Jung Kook, will perform free in the park as part of the annual "Good Morning America" concert series Wednesday.
Fans have already been in line for days -- and if the queue to watch BTS on "Saturday Night Live" last month (when they became the first ever Korean pop group to do so) is any indication, many more will join.
What's more astonishing? The fans don't even have to camp out to get tickets. Everyone on line has a ticket for the sold-out show. They are simply out braving the elements to get a good spot to see their favorite band.
Given the crowd expectations, the NYPD tweeted a reminder Friday, well in advance of the show, that "For your safety, camping in the concrete jungle is not permitted."
