I love the sound of those old cat's. My cat's always started pretty quick.

Pull your rope out a good couple of times before you rip on er, compresses the piston in your motor helps with starting easier. Should start within first couple of pulls at that point.

I have the same sled. I stuck my buddies 2000 ZR600 rear suspension under it. He had converted to a long track so i got his low mile standard hifax unit for free. With a different scissor it bolted right in, and man is it plush. Just figured i'd share. I guess there's many other that would bolt in just as easy. The rear bumper is 21 1/2 inches off the ground, looks sick, and rides even better. These are great trail sleds. Not fast but they hold their own. Torky and very reliable. I dig mine.

Hey Ryan. I just saw you under another sled vid..small world. Yes, it's a 95. I have one. Nothing fancy, just reliable, stump pulling, trail sled. 80 HP with great low-midrange power.. See you on the trail.

I agree on the sound. Love 2 stroke twins... that howl, the smell, heaven. I'll never convert to 4 stroke.

You might need to adjust the choke or clean the carbs. I have a 95 cougar that was like that. I cleaned the carbs and now it starts on the 2nd pull now.

Jason Carte I went through the carbs before the season. That sled was very cold blooded and my brother can't pull over a sled to save his life with a messed up shoulder lol
