Another great looking knife from cold steel. I have the SR1 Tanto and it is confidence in your pocket. You know with cold steel it will never fail you, and they have legendary heat treat/quality control coming out of that Taiwan plant. Great vid guys.

Looks like a tough knife, I typically carry a slipjoint as y’all know, but yeah, I’d carry that knife!

It's definitely feels like a tough knife, no doubt about that. It's certainly a lightweight knife so it would pair well with a slippy! 😎 Thanks for watching and commenting!

It definitely does. Especially with that blade steel and grind combo. It's an impressive knife for the cost. Thanks for watching!!

The simplicity and the thinness are appealing. It seems like it fits between a working man's edc and a gentleman's knife. It could be a good edc in that way, with that steel.

I want one. I’m also digging that little blue slip joint(?) you guys are giving away. The Cold Steel seems like a solid blade. I’ve never owned one, but I’d like to. 😉

Cold Steel's DLC coating is awesome. It simply doesn't wear off. I used one for years, and literally had zero wear or fading. You can even polish it up, and it's beautiful.

That coating is what Cold Steel is call Black DLC, but you know that now. I think that's a solid looking knife, but even though it's really thin it looks kind of wide. Over all a decent looking knife with nice steel in the blade. With Greg's shirt it was hard to focus on the knife ;-).

Hahaha! It’s decently wide, but not too bad. Definitely a great price point for the steel you get! Thanks for watching!!

I would carry it for sure thin, black,working man's knife #Stealth. With the back lock you could hand to someone to use and not worry about them not figuring out how to close it. Now I got that song stuck in my head thanks Greg lol #Badboy whatcha gonna do

Hahaha!! The COPS theme song by Greg for your enjoyment! Good point about the lock back. Most people tend to understand a lock back over other lock mechanisms. Thanks for watching!!

Disassembling a TriAd isn't bad at all. The pins are easier than screws IMO, you just lift the scale off.

Im really liking how thin and low profile that knife looks, Looks like it would fit good in the skinny jeans im always wearing lol ಠ‿↼, dont know if i like that is pinned together tho
@TheClipPoint
3 жыл бұрын
Yeah, the fact that it’s pinned together is a bit of a setback for me as well. Maybe that was their answer to achieve that thinness at that price point though?
