Late to the party as I was, I saw Molly Hatchet live in 1993 in Niceville, Florida at the Mullet Festival. Danny Joe Brown was singing with fire in his throat and Molly Hatchet was terrific. This band named Cold Train sounds way more like Molly Hatchet than the current lineup. The lead singer sounds like Danny Joe Brown!

I agree with the comments that are saying this better than "the people performing as Molly Hatchet" today. The Molly Hatchet "brand" needs to be retired. On another note, I did a couple of Molly Hatchet mashups & posted them here on my YT channel. The Price You Pay is THE PERFECT music to mashup Folsom Prison Blues with The Man in Black's vocals. Bounty Hunter & Workin' for a Livin' by Huey Lewis is the other one. They matched up nicely too. 👍🏻 🇺🇸
