I remember the first time I watched this video, I was only 13... When Chris says: "Ladies and gentlemen, Mr. Jonathan Buckland, he's 28 years old..." it looked so far away to me... Today I am 28 and this song still sounds as amazing as it sounded when I was 13. Thank you Chris, thank you Jonny, thank you Guy, thank you Will

Coldplay will always remain one of my favorite bands, they are timeless. And this song... I can listen to it over and over and over and still feel all these incredible things inside; it touches me beyond words. Does anyone else feel this too ? I just wish I could meet them and tell them how grateful I am for their wonderful music. I just uploaded a cover of The Scientist, and I really hope I did it justice... it would mean so much if other fellow Coldplay lovers gave it a listen. Thank you and keep listening to this beautiful song.

I met this video for the first time when I was early 20s in 2014. At that time, this video only had 0.72 million views, even though this uploaded in 2005. Now this hits around 19 millions in 2023. I really love this version because of the vibration of “start” in 2:55. This is the Coldplay when they ruled the world, no need to try to any attention to get their views on concert or charts on streaming. They made song, audience followed their way. That’s so cool.
