Nothing is “amiss”. Sheridan himself didn’t file a COMPLAINT (not lawsuit) Bosque Ranch did. It’s over the emblem of Cole’s new coffee line. It looks very similar to Bosque Ranch logo. Once again, I see no merit for T S suing C H over a coffee brand copyright logo. I have seen both of them, and they are not alike. My late husband and I had to go through the legal copyright to make sure our "LOGO" wasn't like anyone else. I'm sure C H had to do the same as not to have copyright in fringement, checking to make sure that it wasn't like anyone else's. It took time so for T.S to do this to C.H Says to me only one thing because he's lost so much money on these spin-offs from this awesome show called Yellowstone. He's got a recoup the money somewhere. So I'm gonna put it to everybody on here plainly in what Taylor Sheridan has his hands in. And was still doing writer strike or no 2 shows ended up on Netflix during the writer strike. So let's jump into how many shows and spin-offs. He's got in the works. 1883,1923,1944,2024,6666, Mayor of Kingstown, Tulsa King, Bass Reeves, Lioness, and has yet to finish Yellowstone. Oh forget to mention the true 6666 ranch he's having issues with. WAKE UP PEOPLE

This comment made me think for a good long moment, and even hit the web to make sure I wasn’t wildly out of the loop. I think perhaps the show you’re referring to as “2024” is the upcoming ‘LandMan’ with Billy Bob Thornton. I’d initially thought you were just “joking” with 1944,2024,6666 (I read the last one as a year, in sequence with the other titles lol) Alas, all of them (sans 2024) are ACTUALLY SHOWS. That is... either going to play out to be a’record breaking amazing run’ , or a wild clunky culmination of crash and burns, plural. May your husband RIP, and may your brand succeed. For that matter, I hope CH comes out on top in the suit this video was about, too. I’d fallen under the impression that Sheridan was the absolute man, but with a bit of research… 🤔 I’m not so sure about that. He’s just very financially and creatively successful. Those things do not equate to, nor measure, a human’s decency/character.

If SOA had been allowed to be presented as TV-MA (I believe it was TV-14, which presents tremendous limitations in terms of the language and content that it was able to explore, or rather the depth of said content.) it could’ve been on par with Yellowstone. I’m certainly not promoting crass and offensive language for the sheer sake of hearing it, but rather suggesting that certain environments, situational depictions, and circumstances just require an awful amount of grit to suspend disbelief and hit the viewer as fully realistic. When you have actors portraying ruthless, brutal, violent biker gangs, law enforcement battling them with equal tenacity - something is simply off when they can’t be fittingly profane. Imagine if the Sopranos had been ran through a “make it safe for kids to watch” filter? It never would’ve hit, nor become the timeless cultural masterpiece it now is and will forever be.

@kiqxand4580
13 күн бұрын
It would be both irresponsible and unkind for me to simply say “You are wrong” without actually providing you with the plain-to-see abundance of evidence, and that in itself would be disrespectful to women. So, for the sake of that last point more than anything, as someone raised to respect women and to lend a hand in the process of broadening perspectives when the opportunity presents itself, please go ahead and read below: While I haven’t seen EVERY one of Sheridan’s movies and shows … I’ve seen most of them over the years. Most worthwhile to note in an effort to help you rethink this “he doesn’t respect women” claim - There is a series called Yellowstone. On the series, there is an extremely important character by the name of Beth Dutton, who is quite possibly the most powerful force and impactful individual in the entirety of a rather robust ensemble cast. It’s objectively clear he (Sheridan) believes in the very real power of women as you watch this show and see the tornado-level storms this woman is capable of creating, as well as her ability to overcome TREMENDOUS, horrific adversities both as an adolescent and as an adult woman. She also outsmarts her male counterparts in numerous situations throughout the series. Additionally, this show features another incredible actress portraying the very capable and highly respected Governor Lynelle Perry. Even the most powerful man on this show, John Dutton (Kevin Costner) completely adjusts his generally ill-tempered and unwavering demeanor to treat Lynelle (as well as his daughter Beth) with far more respect and kindness than he ever does any man, period… even the men who’ve devoted their lives to working beneath him, and committing unspeakable crimes on his behalf, for decades without question. Those men cannot earn the respect that he innately exhibits for the women in his life. All of these examples - products of Taylor Sheridan’s mind. Lastly worth noting on Yellowstone, the absolutely badass and man-squashing ranch hand Teeter - a woman who is essentially immediately accepted and ushered into the ‘Dutton ranch family’ as soon as she presents herself to this otherwise callous and generally merciless man (John Dutton), BECAUSE she is (once again) a woman who is powerful, fearless, and deserving of his compassion and r e s p e c t. I only highlighted the most crucial female characters who clarify how abundantly evident the recurring theme of “respect for women” is, but Yellowstone features an abundance of powerful women, all present in the very detailed writing of Sheridan’s most wide-reaching and successful production to date, by an absolutely insane margin. PS: The storyline regarding the love, acceptance, and respect for John’s son Kayce’s wife Monica, despite generations of cultural differences and terrible injustices between settlers like the Dutton and the Native American peoples who inhabited this land for thousands of years before them.,. John doesn’t hesitate to extend infinite resources to her in an effort to provide her with a sense of comfort and respect within (what is now, and for several generations has been) HIS home, as she is now part of their family. Period. Once again - Respect for women. In what would be an admittedly baffling scenario that Yellowstone somehow proves to be insufficient evidence of this recurrent theme in Sheridan’s writing of “direct or underlying respect for women” for you… fortunately his work has a much wider breadth. He also wrote a movie called “Hell or High Water” which - while definitely not particularly dense with onscreen female presence - is quite LITERALLY about two sons going to ludicrous lengths to ensure justice is served in the name of their deceased MOTHER, who was disrespected profoundly and taken advantage of when she fell ill. Besides this driving motivation to rectify the wrongs committed by the local bank against their mom? these two brothers are also driven by an unshakable motivation to ensure that one of the two brother’s EX-wife never has anything to worry about again once they complete their crazy and de/\th-defying mission, so to ensure that she and her two young kids can live comfortably, safely, and carefree… even if it costs the father (and his brother/their uncle) both of their lives. Complete and utter selflessness and the ultimate sacrifice of their lives for a woman (and of course admittedly his children) this man isn’t even married to or in communication with any longer… a film with multiple themes, but the most primary and driving one being - you guessed it, respect for women. In far less detail, he created another film called “Those Who Wish Me Dead” in which a deeply traumatized and wounded woman (who is also incredibly strong and driven beyond belief) attempts to save a boy from a multitude of threats including hit men and an ever growing forest fire… only to ultimately be saved by a man who sacrifices himself to protect her and ensure she succeeds in her mission to save this child - both of whom would’ve most definitely been goners if not for the guy who acknowledges her selflessness and raises the bar by protecting her life at the cost of his own. Any way you slice it, this once again is a story reinforced deeply by the recurrent theme of “Respect for women.” If all of that meticulously thought out writing and multiple script development (by Taylor Sheridan, not me) doesn’t bring you to the updated conclusion that this man sees women *at the very least* as equals - if not WAY MORE important than the men in these intricate stories… I humbly bow out rather than reach for demeaning words to further rebut your tragically misinformed perception of this man’s work. Ready for the ultimate kicker? Right before I saw your wild comment, I’d found myself reconsidering just how “cool and admirable” this guy really was/is all together as a person outside of his content creation, because I found this coffee lawsuit and some other recent articles regarding the way he carries himself as rather lousy and narcissistic. At the end of the day, I guess the most important thing to takeaway is that respect, and the recognition of respect (particularly for women), deserves respect… respectfully. Hence why I kept this novel length PSA as respectful and informative as humanly possible. ☮️
