kool vid you got me intrigued about this tent. Bit of friendly advice from an old Boy Scout. Never walk on your tent.

I just got this tent and I absolutely love it. No crouching necessary I'm 6 feet tall and stand up straight no problem in it ,3 zipper doors to main area that fits 2 queen size beds and keeps bugs out, 3 large windows for fresh air and nice visuals in main area, sit outside under rain flap or go inside storage area for gear or muddy shoes, then enter into your castle away from home. Slept like a baby in a thunder storm with rain pouring on the tent all night long with no leaks. Next night no rain forecast so took the rain flap off and staired at the stars while laying in bed through the entire large mesh roof.This tent is amazing ! When it bites the dust some day I will buy another one exactly the same.

It took more then 10min. From what I've seen it wasn't the tents fault, thank you for sharing.

Ha! It looks like there was a good thing there were so many of you. ;-) Putting up any tent for the first time is always a bit of a fumble, anyway. I personally have a policy of always practicing on mine at home first, that way by the time I get out on site, I know what I'm doing. But if you'd done that, then there'd be no fun video! ^_^

6 person tent doesn’t mean you need 6 people to install it

I would stretch it out more so everything is more tight

I'm trying to figure out if this tent works without staking it, do you reckon it would hold up without the stakes?
@thelooplala

@@emilyfalcone1858 this tent will not stay up if not staked into the ground. It will fall over. You lay the tent out, stake it into the ground and then insert the poles. I had someone try and “help” me put it up, telling me that it doesn’t need to be staked and I was getting so angry because I KNOW it does and I was like please just let me do it myself. Once you get the hang of it, it’s simple. It’s a roomy and you can stand inside of it. I love it. In fact, I was just talking earlier about taking this tent camping as soon as it gets a bit warmer.

Confirmed- this tent needs to be staked well.

Is the floor material tent material or old school tarp material?

You should add which poles go where in the description

If it helps at all the poles are color coordinated! The grey ones are for the 2 back slots and red is for porch before you add the cover

You didn’t follow the colour coded poles….. only one has a bend which the instructions clearly say is for the awning
