Great questions Nate. Love the idea of working on or using one idea at a time. One to come back too.

I saw Colin playing with Jonatan Kreisberg at The Bar Next Door, NYC and ... since that moment I realised how gifted he was and also strong and musical a drummer !

Great interview, this is why i subscribed. Most helpful drum channel on youtube, and some of the most unique and greatly inspiring content.

Thanks so much dude! I've been practicing better the last 2 days as a result of spending time with Colin. The "how" is important, but sometimes the "why" is even more important.

If you want us to focus on the drumming, it'd be nice to just have drumming, or if you want the focus on the interview, just the interview. Cause with both together and I don't know what to pay attention to...and it hurts my brain.

Thanks for the comment Leland. I'm pretty at-peace with my format at this point. If you want a podcast with zero playing, I recommend the Drummer's Resource podcast or I'd Hit That. If you want only actionable drum advice and no interviews I'm sure you've seen the myriad channels on the web. (I'd avoid shows like "the checkout", btw, if you don't like your interviews interspersed with music.)

Never interview a great drummer and sit on his drums, especially if you look like Kiko from El Chavo del 8....
