Seems like someone who cannot afford an aureus of the 12 Caesars has disliked your video - it is the only reason I can find, because it's excellent, please keep uploading!

Congratulations on your move onto KZitem and what an opener: wonderful presentation with a neat run through the essential history of this era of giants ...and with truly awe-inspiring coins along the way. Please keep up this format - a great way for true experts to bring ancient coins to the masses. Already looking forward to Part 2!

Emperor Arcadius ruled (397-408) a gold solidus, as you would appreciate this coin.

I see the reason Caesar struck the aureus it was easier to pay out 200 coins than 5000 ones so he used gold.

Great show, Question? As these are primitive Example of pressing Coins. With how easy it is to fake Modern Coinage, Is it not much more Likely with what we know of fraud and fakes, These old Coins are some of the easiest to Fake. How do you guarantee These are real coins and not Another form of fraud Copy,

I think caligula thought romans elite tried to kill him and thats why he got sick. Thats why he tortured the elites after surviving.

Yes, we hear nothing from the reign of Tiberius concerning Christ and his death. The assumption is easy among many of us that he somehow missed it.... as did everyone else who lived during & left records of this period. And, then again, the conclusion to be drawn is that such was the case... because Christ did not happen as tradition and writers [MUCH later] say. The fact is that there are no known contemporary records of Christ's existence.
