We are headed toward a world where the SEC and Big Ten will control College Football. But how? What could it look like? Today we look into a couple scenarios My other stuff: linktr.ee/cfbudge
If your school doesn’t generate a million views for its games, don’t expect them to be included. Sadly, that’s our reality. Networks aren’t going to pay millions for low viewership numbers either. The gap is just going to get wider.

Me and other FSU fans are praying to not go to SEC. I would much rather have FSU go to the BIG 10 and have Clemson (and Miami) follow us so we can have an in conference rival.

Florida State, Miami, and Clemson going to the SEC makes way more sense than the BIG 10. You guys are in the south, not playing teams in the north. I wouldn’t mind them scheduling a legit BIG 10 team every now and then like Oregon, Ohio State, Michigan, and Washington, but Southern teams should stick to being in the South. Also, Florida State and Miami playing against Florida in the same conference makes a lot more sense.

Never said it would make sense, it’s just that fans of ACC teams usually hate the SEC (especially after the snub). To be fair though, Stanford and Cal are in the ACC so anything can happen even if it doesn’t make too much sense.

@@LordTylerBluGundersonYoubthink this about geography and regional rivals? 😂

@@BrownieCFB Absolutely bruh. If they’re in close proximity and able 2 compete in a higher level, they should absolutely be in the same conference. Makes zero sense that they never were in the first place.

@@LordTylerBluGunderson If you looked at recent realignment trends you would realize that it’s not about geography.

Lower conferences would die, the support that conferences like the MWC, SBC, and AAC have would not just fade away. MAC and C-USA on the other hand, could certainly go the way of the dodo if they were left out to die.

Virginia Tech in the B1G? Did you give this any thought? And FSU in the SEC? Get real. FSU isn't blowing the treasury to just settle on a good football location. Its about football and more importantly, a hospital, something the SEC doesn't help.

FSU in the SEC makes more sense than going to BIG. BIG is dominantly northern region conference. Why on earth the most southeastern team join a Northern base conference? Travel cost wouldn't make sense, games wouldn't make sense (like whose gonna be their conference rivals? They have no history with any B10 teams). SEC makes sense geographically and culturally. Florida Market is already in the SEC borders thanks to Florida Gators. Joining SEC and strengthening rivals with Florida will be huge for views on ESPN and many SEC base media. Plus FSU is a blue-blood school adding SEC another titan program into their collection such as: Alabama, Florida, Georgia, LSU, Oklahoma, and Texas. SEC is top conference with dozen of influential programs with history. FSU is SEC prey. Virginia Tech joining B10 makes sense due to their academia and northern cultural influence. BIG need southern market badly and Virginia tech is good gateway to do it. VT has rivalry with Maryland and Rutgers therefor games would make sense.... Please understand football than spewing stupidity

Realignment doesn’t make sense unfortunately. The placement of the teams was mostly random in the example graphics. But with teams that are commonly featured in realignment rumors.

LOL, first we heard it was an easier path. Now we hear it’s hospitals. The hits keep happening. Funny stuff.
