My wife heard that song this morning and asked me to learn and play it for her. It was great timing, I watched your video and and learned the song in a matter of minutes. I walked in the living room and sat down and started playing it, it was worth the big smile and look in her eyes. Thanks !!!

The dawn is breaking A light shining through You're barely waking And I'm tangled up in you Yeah I'm open, you're closed Where I follow, you'll go I worry I won't see your face Light up again Even the best fall down sometime Even the wrong words seem to rhyme Out of the doubt that fills my mind I somehow find You and I collide I'm quiet you know You make a first impression I've found I'm scared to know I'm always on your mind Even the best fall down sometimes Even the stars refuse to shine Out of the back you fall in time I somehow find You and I collide Don't stop here I lost my place I'm close behind Even the best fall down sometimes Even the wrong words seem to rhyme Out of the doubt that fills your mind You finally find You and I collide Finally find You and I collide (Do do do do) (Do do do do) You finally find You and I collide

Hey @GuitarZero2Hero! I picked up an acoustic guitar about 2 years ago and I just wanted to say thank you for all that you do on KZitem! You are my go to creator to learn new songs. Your videos are just superb. Being a creator myself I know how much time you can put into a video and It’s obvious that you put a lot of thought and time into yours. Love the channel. Love the content and a giant thank you for making guitar fun and easy to learn.

Played this song for many years on just the basic chords, it has a wonderful ability to mesh with Jason Mraz's "I'm Yours" and Five for Fighting's "Superman". (important if you're trying to create something akin to Axis of Awesome "4 Chords") Thank you for the work you do on your videos, you're a amazing inspiration that I follow regularly , to learn and grow from, cheers!

Wow! great lesson Dave! I remember learning and recording a cover of this song about a year ago and I couldn't really get it a hundred percent accurate, especially that Cadd9 chord hammer on part. Though the way you just break it down and explain it, everything just fell into place. As someone who started guitar pretty late and probably not even at the skill level of an intermediate, I must say you've increased my confidence, especially with timing, rhythm and strum pattern. Looking forward to your future lessons mate!
