I love how calm he is about it. For me it would be some rye whiskey. Peace.

I have very fond memories of Glace Bay, Nova Scotia. The Celtic traditions run deep. I think my grandmother on mum's side spoke and old language. I do not remember which one but I know we are a mix of Irish and Scottish. Peace.

I could imagine. We really are a miserable bunch lol. Cape Breton is a lovely place, there was a lot of immigration there from the West Highlands during the clearances, a shame on the the land owners and government of the day. Its hugely famous over here for its musical export. Bands and musicians from there come over here to the Celtic connections festival, Cape Breton fiddle players are legendary!

Without Webb’s reinforcements they’re screwed. He only had about 2,500 men, and a substantial portion are militia. The French had at least 8,000 men. Webb was supposed to send him at least 1,500 men, in order to even out the odds and give Munro the option to sally out and meet his foe.

Why is everyone commenting about Glace Bay & Cape Breton? The scene depicted here is at Fort William Henry? What am I missing?

There were comments that have been removed so I cannot say how exactly we got here. If one travels to Nova Scotia (Scotia being of Scotland) you will immediately notice that it is very similar to Scotland and has a rich celtic tradition. Cheers.

I spent a good portion of my youth in Cape Breton with family. He sounds just like they do. Cheery. :D
