Keynote - Symposium I "(Post-)Colonial Injustice and Legal Interventions" of the "Colonial Repercussions/Koloniales Erbe" event series at the Akademie der Künste, Berlin (26 and 27 January 2018)
Human rights is perhaps the most captivating liberation ideology of our time. Yet the curtain has fallen on human rights because of its normative and cultural deficits. However, nothing as compelling has replaced human rights. A moral vacuum abounds. That is why we need to ask whether TWAIL can either rescue human rights, or supplant it.
