I love youthforia. But I do want to mention why all 5"shades" are the same: It's not colour changing, it's ph changing, depending on how acidic, basic, or neutral your skin is, it's gonna be a different colour, which is a HUGE benefit when it comes to colour theory. But it doesn't have the same colour on everyone. But the point is, your pH doesn't rly change throughout face, right??? So it's going to look the same, it's just that they made it look rly pretty in the bottle. They could potentially make it a different colour, but it would be a completely different formula, meaning it would need a ton of trial and error, and might not even be released. My older sister got the youthforia blush recently, and bc I'm a 13 year old nerd, she taught me all about the pH colour changing, and exactly how it works
@michellecollinsgalaviz2126

@@justinegafford2540his is just a marketing gimmick. Every skin has the same pH range and it’s always acidic (4.3-4.5). So it would not make sense for brands to develop products that react to pH because it would show up as the same color on everyone. Either way, the reason it looks different on each person is due to color theory and how our eyes absorb different light wavelengths compared to their surroundings. Like how trees suddenly appear more vibrant and green when the sky is cloudy vs when the sun is bright and shiny.

I can't with the whole "ph" blush. It changes colors due to the warmth of the skin (similar to the scummy mood rings we once all believed) Even though we have a ph balance in our body, we aren't a cup of water.

I always thought the claim that it reacts with pH is bull. I figured it had to do with body heat as well, like the color will change once it touches your skin. I think the red 27 is the color that changes and truthfully I think it's the only color changing pigment around. I have yet to see anything turn to a different color.
@Call-me-Al
Жыл бұрын
The color changes when it touches your skin because it finally gets access to water (your skin moisture). No water, no pH, as far as I learned. Once water has been introduced, the pH of the formula is usually why you get what you get. You can try this out by thoroughly mixing a bit of a color changing oil with a little water in a small white cup. Like add a drop of water to three drops of color changing oil.

I agree. It looks brighter and more cool toned than the others. I actually don’t think the other ones are the exact same shade either. They’re all mostly close enough that I don’t think you *need* more than one of these guys, but they’re different enough that one might flatter you better than another. To me it’s like looking at several similarly toned red lipsticks. The colors may have subtle enough differences that one might suit you better than another, but they’re close enough that you probably don’t need more them all.
