Senseless and tragic, but it did prove that creating the monument was a gigantic feat of engineering to begin with. That bedrock was extremely difficult to destroy!

Yes. We need to have a serious discussion about the obvious and not so obvious blowback from technology which goes hand in hand with propaganda. See Jacques Ellul. Also goes hand in hand with the cryptocracy and compartmentalized structures such as the CIA which have gone way out of bounds by this point. Remember the Islamic inspired facade at WTC? kzitem.info/news/bejne/zK-Dn61osaFlhYY

All religions do this so that they can continue peddling their version of god and worship practices. Religion is the way to control the masses and they can't have visible evidence of superior, alternate gods. The Copts did this in Egypt and the Muslims after them also did the same. As you mentioned, the Spanish did the same in South America ... while the controllers of our world currently are not destroying the evidence, their plan is to deny it was a higher skill that was able to create all these impossible works. Change the history because the public will believe anything.

You don’t have the right to tell highly trained soldiers patriots to give their lives for some other countries cultural/historic relics. So, unless you are personally willing to die for it, don’t make stupid statements. Take a minute and think before you speak. I know that thinking is a new concept, but it does work. You are welcome. Ashley Anya Many attempts by islamic empires have tried to destroy any other civilizations cultural and religious representations. No doubt defacing was considered adequate effort by previous dictatorships. No need to waste money and effort beyond that, until these mental midgets came along and had to “One Up” the previous Dog by marking their territory even stronger. I hope that each of the Taliban and ISSL morons find 50 Catholic Nuns waiting on them in paradise for the rest of eternity! Vlad have you looked into how these statues were constructed? I have noticed holes, could there have been something like rebar used?
@clanrobertson7200
4 жыл бұрын
Crystal Star Rebar is only used when a liquid polymer of some sort is used. There is no way to place into monolithic (igneous - hard) rock. When you drill the rock, it in veritably weakens the rock from the intense pressure (with modern equipment) much more than the rebar would give it. For rebar to add strength, you need two conditions: first - the material to be reinforced has to have the same expansion and contraction coefficient as steel so that they can expand and contract together, otherwise they would tear each other apart. Two - for reinforcement to be affective, it has to be installed in a grid. If the status were “synthetic - concrete” you could detect it with a metal detector. You are welcome. vlad9vt my question is, when you say ‘official version’ are you open to the possibility that these statues where carved 12,800 years ago, or earlier? Maybe this civilization of the time (500CE) found these statues and recarved/restored them instead of actually carving them? Just my thoughts, a lot of other structures around the world I think fall in category :)

What an outrage, I can't imagine any religion would promote such destruction of ancient works. Why do they feel threatened by the beliefs of those before them. These lands have been occupied by many different people over time, what will the Taliban pass on to their next generation, hate and destruction. Regardless of what they believe , have respect and tolerance , surely their religion allows for this. I think the average man from that area was also outraged, they don't have a forum to object.

Its only fair to say, how the local population in Afghanistan were able to maintain and hold securely these gifts from the past for many centuries, they were muslims before and they are now, label them Taliban, or ysis, it was not the religion that destroyed them, it was the west using the religion as an excuse to demolish those colossal. Just look at the footage, them talibans had no explosives like that, that is high tech high grade plastics.

Off point but Buddha said do not worship me. He is talking about a way of life. Perception. So his ideas were formed way before he existed. It's not a religion. Shame it's so difficult for people to understand this. These statues are of a perceived god. One that we don't know or understand. Can rock be dated ? Not with carbon dating. How can you asses the age of a carving? I don't think you can. Sorry more questions than answers. For all I know these carvings could have been 100 thousand years old. And you can't prove me wrong.
