I love these videos! It is awesome to see you just go out and have fun to take a break from the big air wake board tricks! It also gives me some ideas of ways to have fun behind non-wakeboard boats. It would be a ton of fun to watch you do a similar video on kneeboards!

Would be fun aside from the part that my left knee doesn’t bend far enough since my wakeskate accident when I dislocated it.

Can’t let the classic combo ski fun die. Have told my kids / you must know how to strap on an old school slalom ski and rip it - it’s like driving a manuals transmission - knowing how is a must :) 👍. Combo skis and a 75hp Johnson - boom! :). #oldschool

For sure! Funny you mention the manual transmission. Check this one out Kurt! I give the kids a lil heads up on a driving a stick. kzitem.info/news/bejne/wKOpmI1oZqOSpnY

Shaun, another great video showing all the ways you can have fun behind the boat! How about an air raley on the combo skis! Use a pair of HO's new light weight Freeride combos.

so true Shaun.. get out and just have fun, whatever it is. Yesterday i had a super powder day, tree runs, secret spots, the whole day fresh untouched snow.. one of my best snowboarding days. In April or May i'm back in wakeboarding

Love it, thanks for the reminder. What speed for combos 26-28?
@Shaun.Murray
3 жыл бұрын
Depends on the person's size and skis but that's a good place to start. I tend to pull people slower at first and as they ask for speed, give it to them in small increments.

Probably way slower. I think around 15. Just fast enough to not fall:)

How fast were you going while barefooting? I want to do that on my 230.
@brodys6
4 жыл бұрын
Slowest you can go barefooting is about 28 (form has to be perfect) if youre doing longline you probably want to go about 33-36 mph. I go 35 when stepping off long line.
@Shaun.Murray
4 жыл бұрын
Brody knows what he's talking about. I like to foot at least 35 if not 38, but you can learn around 32 depending on weight
@anthonysaive3722
4 жыл бұрын
Shaun Murray how long of a line would be doable?
@brodys6
4 жыл бұрын
@@anthonysaive3722 For show skiing i use a 100 foot line it puts you in a little bit nicer water, but 75 works also. Sit about a foot or two away from the outside wake when you step off best water is right there. If you can start off of a boom it will save you alot of falls
@cradke7
3 жыл бұрын
Weight / 10 + 20 is what we use, long line of course. Booms weren't invented when I learned, well Mike Seipel had one but that was it.
