I agree. I love the album. You'll be hearing more soon! They did it at Muscle Shoals Studio too. Great sound on it.

I love night moves album loved it for years.. one of my actual ones that went with the exception of reel to reel: album 8-track another album then cassette and a couple of CDs ..I actually took a shot at sunburst on my KZitem channel a couple years ago played aling right to the trackwhat the Old reliable Roland micro cube I love that amp I will never part with it.. it so compact and fun..nobody else has really tackled that particular track..it was hard for using two guitars in the one but that was off for shits and giggles and I had a good time with it I don't get to upload as much as I want to anymore being on the road so much and plus with the copyrights compared to my old Channel that I lost because well too many strikes LOL... but the only people I ever seen doing Sunburst are just cover bands.

@@truckerkevthepaidtourist Yeah, amazing album. I only had the vinyl and now the mp3. The only song I don't love on it is "Mary Lou". It's okay, but not the greatest. The rest of the songs are really classics.

I like his mid-1970s stuff quite a bit. After Night Moves he sort of turned away from his classic R&B roots. I like how his songs often tell a story. I'm from Detroit though, so I may be biased toward a native son of Detroit.

I got rid of my Crybaby years ago. I'm just using one of those emulators with an expression pedal. I think I used the "Vox" setting because I liked it better than the "Crybaby" without fiddling around with the knobs. It has knobs, but I ignore them. I liked the old pedal where you got whatever you got ... just stomp on it and wah away! I think "Poppa" (Seger used an unusual spelling BTW) is probably simple lechery. He's just being a dirty old man I'd guess! :)

@@MarkZabel oh I didn't know that I thought you had a great old amp and setup up in your room it looks like it's an upstairs room? yeah like I said I broke down about a crybaby was less than a hundred bucks for the very basic one I looked at some of these ones since I got home I guess some of these people have their own custom wah pedals too? George Lynch and a whole host of others Steve Vai and more with their name on it and all kinds of bells and whistles.. I like my little crybaby original Dunlop just a reissue made by Dunlop whether it's a Dunlap official or from overseas.. I don't care all I know is when I played it started pumping on hope you're feeling better from Santana after the organ kicked and I was like oh yeah this is all I need..

Yeah, I know Pete Carr was did the lead on Mainstreet. I'm fairly sure he's on this one playing lead too. Drew eventually quit because Seger kept using studio musicians for his albums. Certainly there's nothing here that Drew couldn't have done. Maybe Seger had his preference for other reasons. (I think Drew played on all of the first side and the last couple on the 2nd side of Night Moves.)
