What's ironic is that Compton used to be a farming community. I have pics from my grandmother of their produce stand and fields. They were from Sicily. She went to Compton High School in the late 40s

Yeah Compton was an all White neighborhood. Same thing w my city I’m from pompano beach FL same city as Kodak Black , I know his whole family , best friends with his brother and cousin . We all went to the Same schools. But pompano is the hood but back in the day early to mid 1900s-1960ish Pompano was one of the biggest farming , cotton, tobacco in the country . South fl was all land and marshes & Everglades and all the housing projects were for the farmers etc. then when all the cocaine & weed/drug money came in and all the skyscrapers and cities being built then the projects became the hood of course .

That form of therapy Richard was describing with the eye movement thing is newer form of therapy called "EMDR" and is used exactly as he was describing! I've seen it work on a lot of my friends, and it's changed some of their lives for the better 100%, but only the ones that followed through with the therapy needed for the traumatic event the individual is working on with their therapist.

Johnny....you are a stand-up comedian with a great premise for this show, and a great story to boot, so my question is----why haven't you been invited on Rogan yet? I would say get on Your Mom's House, although I think you've already been (can't quite remember). One Rogan appearance can take your views into the millions every video you make. I'm sure you already know all this, was just curious if there was beef or something preventing that? Love the show!

Maybe not, but the "Rogan-bump" is still indeed a real thing. Various recent return guests have said as much, that since their last visit their numbers/views have shot through the roof, on top of the fact that it is still the number 1 podcast in the world. I'm tired of getting "patreoned" out of the good stories and I want to see him lay it all out in a 3 hour Rogan-sesh lol. Peace. @@exactlywhatineeded

@@danielstout1891 not that, it’s just that Rogan seems like he’s disinterested in things like this now. I haven’t watched him in a while but I heard that he had Joey diaz on recently and he really didn’t seem too amused by him much. Idk though I haven’t kept up with him enough to know the type of guests he invites, maybes he’s noticed a guest like this guy idk
@danielstout1891
Жыл бұрын
He probably just doesn't find his stand-up funny enough to bring him on yet; but his life story trumps stand-up so hopefully he'll get the message. I never considered that about Joey Diaz. Maybe Diaz is just getting too old and not doing enough stand-up. I've got 99 other podcasts I listen to, I only do Rogan so I can feel like I'm hearing the national conversation an whatnot. But yeah, Rogan's good guests are too few and far between now, kind of a bummer.@@exactlywhatineeded
