It's a scripted show...Nothing that you are watching is actually happening. It's set up from the first shot to the very last.

I was at DragonCon in Atlanta a few years ago and was walking around the Walk of Fame. All of a sudden, I saw someone who looked like Ming Chen walking towards me. Turned out he was there, just attending for fun. Talked with him for a few minutes, really cool guy.

Was the director just pushing these families right to the truck?

Under normal circumstances, they would be arrested for false advertising-- the parents were probably thinking "at least they're not selling drugs" (only a theory though)

This man is my all time favorite actor. My favorite film from him is an independent film called “Everything’s Jake”. His theater work is truly something to behold and his abilities as a dramatic actor are comparable to no one else and it’s like no one cares. He’s one of the most magnetic actors in his field. This same year he had a one man theater show that he wrote based on the first black heavyweight champion Jack Johnson called “Ghost In The House” and I was blown away by his performance. I kinda died a little inside when he makes that statement about how he never thought he would have to sell comic books out of a fake ice cream truck and those guys just laughed at him. 8:04
