Units are not what you expect here. In fact, they're almost reversed. By that I mean Light Tanks and Artillery are tools of destruction and Mammoth Tanks are pathetic.
Needless to say, your $1500 Heavy Tanks ARE powerful, but don't lose them. They have Tesla Coils that make them as powerful as Tesla Tanks, but with Heavy Tank armour.
Light Tanks are very powerful and Artillery have Cruiser range and heavier armour. You'll want about 6-8 Heavy Tanks before attempting anything, though it's worth sending out infantry to scout.
Defend by the water, to the NE and NW of your start point.
Rifleman have more armour and can sponge a few Pillbox hits, so use them to scout a bit.
Always keep your Heavy Tanks repaired. It can be the difference between failure and success when you lose a $1500 unit in this map.
Advance slowly and capture some of the Allied base to the west. Get the Ore here, recoup your losses and scout with a Spy if you want. Don't bother with V2s. They're essentially Demolition Trucks, but your opponent has the firepower to destroy them very quickly.
You don't have to destroy the northern base, but it's fun whilst you're on a unique level.
Stavros will take a beating before dying. And then you can capture the Chronosphere.
