@@cyruschang1904 Hello Cyrus. Thank you for this exercise. - I've got a car (à l'oral : I got a car) = J'ai / je possède une voiture. The present perfect is used to talk about actions that took place very recently, without mentioning a specific moment in the past. I think "have got" here refers to possession. - I've gotten a car = J'ai acquis / acheté une voiture. "Gotten" is American English with the verb get in the present perfect tense, with the meaning of become, reached, or acquired. It is not used for possession. Gotten is also used with "have" to show that someone has recently come into possession of something. - I got a car yesterday = J'avais/ je possédais une voiture hier. Preterit is used to talk about an action in the past. When the action is clearly defined in the past and has no connection with the present. Here there's the time marker "yesterday". I look forward to your reply. 🤔

Hello Adrian ! Many thanks for this video but I have a question for all examples with the third person singular why it isn't necessary to write a final S to the verb. Thanks by advance for your answer and always in a joyful atmosphere.

I'm not sure I got all ! Lol get by et get over sont très similaires tout comme en français d'ailleurs car surmonter quelque chose équivaut à s'en sortir mais qu'en est il de get away with ? Est ce strictement égal à get by ? In any case thank you very much, it's a pleasure to learn with you

You're welcome! To get by = s'en sortir, au sens de "se débrouiller". To get away with = s'en sortir, au sens de "ne pas se faire attraper". I hope this helps.

Bonjour Adrien, merci pour ton travail. C'est un plaisir d'apprendre avec toi. Petite question: l'utilisation de "when" et "as" peut-elle être similaire? Dans les exemples du petit 2: "He got angry WHEN he saw the mess" et "They got excited AS the concert began". Fais-tu une différence entre le "Quand=when" et le "AS=lorsque (entre autres)". En te souhaitant une agréable journée
