so many years I watched both Meateater and Jay separately, and it makes me happy that they have combined!

Jay's & Daniel are right there has always been some tension between recreational angles and commercial fishermen, I never thought much about it and it makes sense that they dont want to target all the spawning fish, always cool when you can learn something while being entertained. Great job guys, stay safe.

Growing up my step father is native and did commercial fishing on lake Nipissing I always enjoy every time I was brought out also where I learned to clean fish so well as that was one of the few things I could help with. I've caught some monsters in the winter while they set and I was always taught to release the large fish its the way to respect the lake.

Great video!! Got to learn about a part of fishing that is kinda hush hush due to the public perception. Nice to see how much the commercial fisheries can care about sustainability. Fun to see you fish with a couple of charismatic dudes, lots of laughs and makes for a good day of fishing. ✌️

This is super cool but netters kill everything in the PNW rivers and get preferential treatment from the government on top of that. Gill nets are indiscriminate and decimate fisheries.

I don't get it. Netters are no friend of sport fishing or fisheries. They use gill nets to indiscriminately rape the waters until fisheries are wiped out, then they move on to pillage other areas. Pitiful show.
