CE CONFIGURATION
AIM:
To construct a common emitter transistor circuit and test its input and output characteristics curves and find its input and output resistance.
APPARATUS REQUIRED:
1. Regulated power supply (0-30v) 2nos
2. NPN Transistor ( CL 100 )
3. Resistor 1.5kohm, 2.2k ohm
4. voltmeter (0-1V), (0-30V)
5. Ammeter (0-500uA), (0-10mA)
6. Bread Board
INPUT CHARACTERISTICS:
To determine the input characteristics, the reading will be taken in between base to emitter voltage (VBE) and base current (IB) at different constant levels of collector emitter voltages (VCE).
INPUT RESISTANCE = ∆VBE/∆IB | At constant VCE.
OUTPUT CHARACTERISTICS:
To determine the output characteristics, the reading will be taken in between collector to emitter voltage (VCE) and collector current (IC) at different constant levels of base current (IB).
OUTPUT RESISTANCE = ∆VCE/∆IC | At constant IB.
