I look for flowers on the White Pine Lake trail. Pretty self explanatory. This was filmed in Mid July and wildflowers are in their peak. This is a valley located on the South (read, North facing) side of Little cottonwood canyon, so water is more available and some different plants can be found. Lots of good botany to be had. A good hike for the Wasatch and Rocky Mountains a really good hike to showcase the flora of mid elevation mountains in the Southern Rockies.
