Commonwealth University College of Medicine (CUCOM) in Saint Lucia welcomes students to study their 3-Year Undergraduate Medicine Programme.
• Altogether the comprehensive programme structure consists of:
- 1.5 years of Basic Sciences studied over five study trimesters
- 1.5 years of Clinical Rotations studied for 76 weeks (48 weeks of Core Rotations and 28 weeks of Elective Rotations)

This accelerated curriculum taught in English qualifies students with a Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree and alumni practise medicine internationally. Due to the integrative programme structure, students gain extensive practical and theoretical skills on-campus, online, and in clinical settings. Students undertake clinical rotations at Victoria Hospital, CUCOM’s affiliate hospital in Saint Lucia, and in U.S. hospitals. During their studies at the renowned, highly-accredited medical school, students may also apply for international clinical rotations in the UK.

Overall CUCOM graduates currently work all over the world and are highly qualified. Since the 3-Year Programme comprises dynamic clinical rotations, educational empowerment, and medical technology training, students have internationally-regarded skills. CUCOM has no entry exams and students can apply for one of the three intakes per annum (January, May, September).
