Following on from part 1 this video shows mounting the infrared pass filter to the lens of the compact digital camera. I showcase some examples of landscapes shot using the filter. Images can additionally be toned, either in-camera or in post-processing.
If you experience vignette at the 4:3 aspect ration then instead of screwing in the IR filter into the filter ring remove the IR glass from the mount and then install it into the ring that you glued onto the lens. Re-install the locking ring. Use black anodised rings to limit reflections.
Most cameras have enough back focus in the lens to still permit infinity focus and do not require a plain glass filter to be installed in place of the IR blocking filter that you remove from the camera.
