Given its your own parents, you have to evaluate 2 main things: 1. Who has the emotional strength to support the loss of their partner? 2. Who has more chances of being financially stable given social and economic factors?
@arian41148
Жыл бұрын
well the answer to one of those is my mom and to one of those is my dad. now what?
@gregoryzy
Жыл бұрын
@@arian41148 There's a third. The priority goes for 1, if they both are, then 2, if both somehow have this checked, then 3. The closest to you or the closest to efficiency (easier to carry or requires less effort to save or is conscious...) Given, by chance, every requirement is tied, then you go with chance, the old coin toss, for example, not necessarily toss a coin but agree that you will save who is on the left, for example.

To add a few clauses: - Follow your parent's preference if they have one on who should be saved. - Choose the option with the highest chance of survival (not likely to die later on due to: going back to save the other, injuries/mental problems sustained from the incident, pre-existing health problems... etc).

Just know that, job interviews are also negotiations between employee and employer. When the company has red flags (very hard technical questions for entry level position, interviewers being rude, illegal we questions aka super personal questions, etc.). Just smile, say you can't answer the question, say thank you for the time and opportunity, then leave and try finding a better company. For freshgraduates/entry level job seekers: *your first job is just your first job, you'll later find a better job, so don't be too anxious in job interviews.*

I actually got kinda lucky- my company had these company values and such. I was kinda worried about working there. However, it was like... the most understanding company I'd ever worked at. Like, I was used to doing overtime- but my boss was like 'Its just a job, go home. This can wait until you come back" I complained that I just barely missed my bus when leaving, boss said I should leave 10 minutes early. Company used to fully pay for weekly nights out, everyone helped each other out, very little office politics. It was great! ...until my team departed and I got some new guys in. I was essentially given my old bosses job and wanted to recreate the nice environment. Sadly, the one guy introduced office politics- stealing credit and back talking people. The other guy thought he could revolutionise the company with some radical changes and wanted people to be more efficient. Caused... major problems sneakily changing things without permission and got fired. His replacement... didnt know how to do the job. Realised a year later that I was not happy and it wasnt the same company from when I started and I quit.
